1. Do you plan to attend the reunion? Will you be bringing someone with you?I haven't planned my next year's vacations, but
I'll try to plan my trip home around the reunion. So
a tentative YES to come, bringing NO ONE.
2. If you are planning to attend, how far will you be traveling to getthere?
I'll be travelling about 1500 miles from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
3. What have you been doing during the past ten years?
I've been 4 years at college (U of Iowa, major in
Biomedical Engineering), 7 months travelling in Europe
and Middle East, then moved to San Diego for 2 years,
then moved to and travelled in Europe (London and
Hamburg mostly, though also travelled around) for 8
months... then moved back to Iowa for 2 months (I
guess it could be called a visit), then moved to Fort
Lauderdale for 2 months (another visit I guess) then
to San Diego for 2 months (let's see, a visit??) then
moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL where I've been for a
year and a half. I hope all that adds up. Sorry for
the long-windedness, but I'm a jumpy guy.
4. What do you do (how employed, student, stay-at-home parent, etc)? I'm a computer programmer.
5. Are you single, married, divorced, or widowed? If married or
widowed, spouse's name and length of marriage.

6. Do you have children? If so, names and ages.
No children (that I know of)
7. Any pets? If so, what and how many?
No pets (that I know of)
8. Where do you live?
Fort Lauderdale, FL
9. What did you do right after high school?
I said this up there in #3
10. What do you think has changed most about you since high school?
So many things have changed. My spirituality,
goals, perceptions, views, ideas, priorities, etc etc,
I don't think I can name one thing.
11. When is your birthday?
Dec 26.
12. Did you further your education? If so, how? (2 or 4 yr degree,
vocational, certifications, masters or doctorate, any special training, etc.)
4-yr BSE in biomedical engineering from U of
Iowa. Certification in Lotus Notes R4. I take
community classes while I work.
13. Have you been in the military? If so, how long?
No military.
14. Did you work while in high school? If so, where?
I worked on our farm.. sold crops and goods.
15. What other countries have you traveled to and why?
I've been lucky to travel, and I love to travel..
been to probably more than 40 countries.. most of
Europe, Middle East, some of Africa, Asia, Mexico,
Bahamas, Puerto Rico, etc.
16. What are your hobbies and interests now?
I like to travel, paint, read, write, exercise,
spend time with family and friends, drink, carry-on,
make a ruckus, chess, tennis, judge people, gossip.
17. What was your favorite high school moment(s), class(es), teacher(s),sport(s), club(s), etc?
I really liked band and making fun of people. I
liked AP bio, advanced math classes, English classes.
I liked Mrs Doughty, Mr Boyd, Ms Johnson, Mr Gaulrapp,
Mrs Adkins, Mr Lehmuis, Mr VandeKamp, Mrs Trott. Some
others too, it's hard to remember..
Clubs I liked were Yearbook, Nat'l Honors Society (it
made me feel special), math club (fun people).
18. What do you think you'll be doing (or what do you hope you'll be doing)when our 15-year reunion rolls around?
Hopefully I'll have at least one business and be
rich. A little fame wouldn't hurt.
19. Any messages you would like to send to your fellow classmates? Messages... best of luck to everyone. I find it
helps to pray, exercise, laugh, be grateful, spend
time with friends/family, and listen.
20. Who are you are most interested in seeing at the 10-year reunion? Why?
I'd like to see old classmates, it would be great
to catch up.

Matt is currently living in Chicago and is very single. He is employed as an online marketer and he has no children. Did I mention that he is VERY single?

Matt is in a relationship with Beazley Phillips. He lives in Chicago where he is the Senior Account Manager of a search engine marketing software company. Matt is passionate about environmentalism. He volunteers regularly and serves on the board of directors of Climate Cycle. He also loves art and gossiping (which is technically an art as well).

Matt Cardoni has been married for two years, and has a kick-ass cat named Carlitos, who has his own Facebook page (Catlyn Jenner). He lives in Chicago and is self-employed. He likes costumes, art, and volunteering for the environment.

Matt Cardoni has been married to Beazley Phillips for seven years. Matt lives in Chicago, where he is a stay-at-home superstar, who loves costumes, art, lighting, his cat Carlitos, and high kicks. Especially the high kicks.
