2. If you are planning to attend, how far will you be traveling to get there?
2 1/2 hours (live in Chicago)
3. What have you been doing during the past ten years?
I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in
Biomedical Engineering. After I college I took a job with Cerner
Corporation in Kansas City, MO which develops computer solutions for
Healthcare Corporations. I lived in KC for about 9 months then moved to Chicago where I eventually took a job with Northwestern Memorial Hospital in which I am currently employed with. I am now Integration and Technical Project Manager for a variety of projects here at the hospital. I am also currently applying to grad school to further continue my education with an MBA. Other than that I have been enjoying my life in one of the greatest cities and hanging out with my friends.
4. What do you do (how employed, student, stay-at-home parent, etc)?
Integration and Technical Project Manager for the Clinical Information Systems Dept at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
5. Are you single, married, divorced, or widowed? If married or
widowed, spouse's name and length of marriage.
Single
6. Do you have children? If so, names and ages.
Hell no;), not yet.
7. Any pets? If so, what and how many?
None
8. Where do you live?
Chicago, IL
9. What did you do right after high school?
Went to college at the University of Iowa
10. What do you think has changed most about you since high school?
Looks
11. When is your birthday?
March 27, 1976
12. Did you further your education? If so, how? (2 or 4 yr degree,
vocational, certifications, masters or doctorate, any special training, etc.)
Yes degree in Biomedical Engineering and currently applying
to grad school for my MBA.
13. Have you been in the military? If so, how long?
No
14. Did you work while in high school? If so, where?
Yes, though I hate to admit it:) Kentucky Fried Chicken,
Boot Wagon Shoes, Kendrick Pest Control.
15. What other countries have you traveled to and why?
Mexico - vacations and spring breaks.
16. What are your hobbies and interests now?
Skiing, Running, working out, reading, following Iowa Hawkeyes and Cubs.
17. What was your favorite high school moment(s), class(es), teacher(s), sport(s), club(s), etc?
Moments: going to DC for Close UP my senior year, winning the state
championship in 92.
Sports: Soccer, everything about it, I miss that a lot.
Clubs: Student Council.
Teacher/Counselor: Mr. Duerling, and I know there were others but I can't remember them.
Classes: liked AP Chemistry although the teacher was a pain. I can't
remember the classes but the ones with Mr. Massey and Mr. Mish...(not even going to try and spell his name), those were fun. And both of those teachers I liked as well.
18. What do you think you'll be doing (or what do you hope you'll be doing)
when our 15-year reunion rolls around?
Either Retired or director/CIO of a healthcare corporation.
19. Any messages you would like to send to your fellow classmates?
Not at this time.
20. Who are you are most interested in seeing at the 10-year reunion? Why?
Nobody in particular just some of my friends I hung out with
in High school.
